Everybody Loves Cthulhu

Everybody Loves Cthulhu is a Lovecraft-inspired social deduction game for 4-10 players, where cultists attempt to complete rituals to summon the elder god Cthulhu, and the heroes try to bring down the cult from within. It is currently available to play in Tabletop Simulator.

Which side are you on?

In each game, players will be assigned a secret role that determines whether they are on the side of the cultists or the heroes. One lucky player is granted the role of High Priest - a cultist known to everyone, but also a target for the heroes. It's up to the cultists to help the High Priest finish enough rituals to awaken their slumbering god, and the heroes' job to sabotage the rituals or kill the High Priest.

For more advanced players, each cultist and hero will also have a unique ability they can use during the game to help their faction or hinder their foes, and neutral roles with their own agendas can add an extra layer of uncertainty to the mix.

Perform Rituals

Each round the players will attempt to collaborate on a ritual, each with its own effects and requirements. Offer cards in secret to aid the ritual, or throw in duds and sabotages to ruin the cultists' day. Just don't get caught!

The heroes aren't totally at a disadvantage though - not every ritual is created equal, and even the most well-meaning of cultists can sometimes find themselves without a decent offering to make. And if all else fails, a well-timed dramatic reveal can be the difference between winning and losing.

Unique Classes

You may be cultists during the night, but what skills does your character have by day? With 20 unique classes to choose from, each player will have their own attributes and abilities to help - or hinder - the cult's efforts.

Each class has its own strengths and weaknesses. Are you tough, but mentally fragile? Feeble, but strong-willed? Or somewhere in-between? Death and insanity are a staple of cult life, but it's probably best to try to avoid either until the rituals are done...
